Autumn Beauty of the Walled Garden
As the season has progressed I have been trying to fill gaps in the previous year’s portfolio, working in areas I have neglected and showing types of weather that are obviously missing as well as refining existing concepts. This wide view of the walled garden shows (I hope) the potentially spectacular clarity of light and richness of colour that the autumn months can produce. I may have given the walled garden more attention than any other part of the park, but with such a variety of leaves, flowers and trees in such good condition, it is hard to resist returning.
