Landscape photographers often try to avoid white skies, which can be difficult in this country, but here the rising morning fog makes it a natural and appropriate rendition rather than a shortcoming of the medium’s ability to record bright clouds. The profusion of ornamental plants is reminiscent of a cottage garden rather than a London park and make this image one of the most obviously romantic in the series. 2008.
