Globe Thistles and Mulberry in Autumn Mist
One of my favourite images of the year, this belongs with the other misty walled garden photographs on one level but also stands alone as a particularly distinctive view of one of the park's most characterful trees. I feel the hanging leaves of the mulberry seem to be falling like rain while the thistle heads float upwards from a swelling foliage sea. 2008
