Last Leaves on the Cherry Tree I
This is of course the same viewpoint as the much older photograph "Autumn in the Walled Garden" but with the clear light of a sunny autumn afternoon rather than a cool foggy morning, the character of the scene is very different. The remaining rich dark leaves of the cherry tree hang like decorations on the otherwise bare branches. October 2009.
