Mallards and Maple I
This is one of the least-photographed of the lakes (by me at least) and for much of the year the thickness of the tree canopy makes it difficult. By late autumn though, the area has opened up enough to let light through and the yellow maple leaves have covered up much of the muddy lake shore. The mallards were moving too much for me to refine the concept much, but as a photographic sketch it's not bad. November 2009.
