October Sunbeams II
In this sunbeam image, the sun is mostly masked by one of my favourite plane trees and long narrow beams briefly pierce the fog. A crow and a commuter are caught in the middle as ghostly shadows. This image is quite difficult to reproduce owing to the brightness range and the soft gradation of yellows in the beams, and is not well represented on this web gallery. October 2008.
