Cloud Eye Sunset
The delicate pinks of high cirrus clouds only appear after sunset and retain their colour for longer than other clouds. I only noticed the eye shape when I saw the developped film and unusually, the tiny streak of a plane crossing the image (right of centre) actually seems to add something positive. The view is from the ridge overlooking Herne Hill, looking towards the tennis courts. April 2009.
