Morning Dew on Wild Flowers I

Sometimes despite all the planning and pre-arrival pre-visualisation, a new unexpected phenomenon makes itself known and overshadows other agendas. I thought this cloudless morning would yield few more interesting images (meaning I could retire to breakfast), but then as the sun rose to flood across the walled garden, the dew covering these delicate wild flowers among the tulips began to glow like backlit fog. Each stem seems like the filament of a lamp. April 2009.
