Walled Garden Spring Sunset
Often the best colours of sunsets occur after the sun has dropped below the horizon, which can make it hard to reveal much detail in the land. With careful exposure control however it was possible to record the rich red of a plume of cirrus cloud along with the deep colours of the flowers. I made a number of exposures as the colours grew stronger and then faded and I think this one is probably my favourite, although the limitations of web reproduction don’t quite do the colours justice.
