MAX A RUSH PHOTOGRAPHY

Summer Dawn at Brockwell Hall
Another photograph in which I have included one of the planes that pass over about once a minute. Often they leave unattractive dark streaks, but the comet-like bright trails aren't so aesthetically bad. Of course they do reduce the pure and "rural" value of landscape photographs, but in a London park this would not be very truthful anyway. I find the many old photographs of the park very interesting, and I certainly wouldn't criticise those photographers for including a steam train or contemporary car. June 2009.
