August Clover in the Meadow
One of my priorities for the summer of 2009 was to show a little more of the wild meadow than the tempting thistle patch at the top. After the summer's winds and rain the dry grasses are beginning to collapse and decay, and thousands of late clover flowers briefly take over. The fine layer of altocumulus seemed to compliment the carpet of small flowers. August 2009
