September in the Meadow
This is one of the last photographs of the meadow before the grass and thistles were cut (which is now done every four years). As usually happens on this exposed spot, a breeze has blurred a few of the thistle seedheads, but this can't always be helped. In London the frequency of low planes passing over is so high that windows of clear sky normally only last a few seconds. September 2009.
