Lupins, Gillespie Park I

Gillespie Park, located near Arsenal in the north of the borough, is one of the greenest public places in Islington, featuring a series of looped paths through different habitats from the Ecology Centre at its main entrance. The park contains well-established lakes, woods and wildflower meadows within a fairly small area, and is also a safe dog-free place for young children. These immaculate lupins growing in a woodland clearing were photographed on a late spring evening.
