Stormy Evening, Staithes
The photographs in this gallery are from a brief visit I made to this famous village during a short stay in North Yorkshire in the summer of 2010. As Staithes is already well-known from the work of other artists I visited it out of interest rather than a wish to imitate anyone else's pictures. Luckily the weather was conducive to me making my own interpretation of the houses along the beck and the rocky shore, and although this was the only evening I used my film camera in Yorkshire, I'm glad I took the trouble.
