North Sea Sunset from Staithes I
As the sun began to set and the village grew darker I decided to concentrate on the shore, knowing the wet rocks would continue to show some detail as the light faded. With light of this quality I could probably have stayed in the village and produced some more interesting work there, but I'm glad I have a little variety of subject matter in this small portfolio. I was very worried at the time about rain on the lens during the exposures, but luckily I've managed to avoid getting any visible spots. July 2010.
