Sognefjell Hillside
Decending from the snowdrifts of the upper Sognefjell towards the Lustrafjord, the lushness of the spring growth was a dramatic change. Unfurling ferns and birch trees covered the hillsides, irrigated by the melting snow from the mountaintops, and were interspersed with many other plants, yet to come into flower. May 2007.
