Rowan Trees at Caban Coch
Another area missing from my winter portfolio is the Caban Coch dam and surrounding hills. Unlike the elegant Craig Goch dam, Caban Coch has a straight top and no foel tower and is more a barrier in the landscape than a decorative feature. However it is faced by the lush Cnwch wood on the left and rowan-covered slopes, from where this photograph was made on a breezy, drizzly afternoon. August 2009
