Craig Goch at Dawn with Freezing Fog and Snow
On one of the coldest days in many years I arrived at Craig Goch before dawn. The temperature was around –15ºC and thick freezing fog was hanging in the valley, leaving heavy accumulations of frost on the trees. Not a day many visitors are likely to have witnessed, but one of the most dramatic I have seen. Many of the other winter images in this gallery are from the same morning. March 2006.
