Ice And Snow Ledge overlooking the Valley, Esgair Brithgwm
Water continually trickles down the hillside of Esgair Brithgwm overlooking Craig Goch, often resulting in large icicles in winter. Here, water flowing over a rocky outcrop has formed a thick ice sheet which has retained a dusting of snow from earlier. This ice sheet is the subject of two close-up photographs in this gallery, but here is seen in context with the main watercourse reflecting hillside colours far below. January 2009.
