There is usually a flock of chaffinches feeding around the Craig Goch dam in winter, and they can be quite tame around visitors. I was sitting in my car waiting for better light when this male flew over and landed on my open window, curious about its reflection in the mirror. The only problem photographing it was getting far enough away to be able to focus. Elan Valley, 2005
