Goldfinches

Goldfinches are one of London’s most attractive native birds, and seem to be increasing in number. They are most often seen in medium sized groups flying between treetops, and their calls are quite distinctive. This small flock were feeding at eye level on a cold winter morning in Brockwell Park. February 2008.
